Gameshark codes not working

I recently bought a gameshark 2 v1.1 for the PS2 with kingdon hearts.
but the codes i want are not on the gameshark. i found lots of diffrent codes for infinite "munny" on the web from lots of diffrent people. I have tried to put the codes in but once i highlight the code to use it it doesn't stay ligh up like it should. i have tryed many coeds but none stay light. And after i click on them i check the code and the numbers and letters have been changed.
Can anyone help
