Okay, I have this one movie I'm watching on my laptop. The movie is 1.66 format, or 16/9. I'm not quite sure what my screen dimensions are.

Anyway, whenver I put this movie full screen, there are huge black borders that are formed around the picture. The right and left border, which already existed in non-full screen mode, get much bigger, and then there are borders that form on the top and bottem.

I tried to include screenshots, but then I found out I needed a special program to do so, so I forgot about it.

But yes. When I play the movie in non full screen mode, there are black borders on the right and left sides. Noticeable, but not too big. No borders on the top or bottem. In full screen mode, huge borders on all sides. I'd say they take up half the screen. So the actual picture I see is like, this tiny rectangle within an even bigger rectangle.

How can I make the movie show as much as possible on my screen? Thanks.
