I have a quick question, I have MvC2 but I extracted all the data from the iso to my hard drive. So basically I have all the files that make up the game.

But how exactly do I recompile all the data so it can be burned again? I see the original zipped game has 2 files: MARVEL_VS_CAPCOM2.mdf and MARVEL_VS_CAPCOM2.mds. Is there a way to recompile the mdf and mds files, or can my request be achieved another way?

You dont need to extract the files from the game to your hard drive. Just use DVDecrypter or Alcohol to burn to a disc. The mds file is like a cue file that points to the file that needs to be burnt, and tells the program what mode to use when burning. The mdf file is the actual image file that the mds is pointing to.

Well I needed to extract the contents of the game for a few reasons, and now I have to put it back together so that it will boot in my ps2.
