MP3dvd to regular CD format

I have a dvd with 8 hours of music in MP3 format. My computer and T.V. speakers suck so I want to put the songs back on my harddrive in the regular CD format then make several CDs that I can play anywere. The program I use for my music is the standared Windows Media Player that came preprogrammed. I can't, however get that to do anything with the mp3 dvd. Do I need to buy some special software like Nero 7 or something to do this? If so is there something cheaper than Nero 7?

Hi mate,
DO you have any burning sofware on the PC at the moment? What I mean is that did the PC come with any bundled software for burning discs?

All you need to do is to copy the mp3 files as mp3 files from the dvd and put them on your hard drive. Then get your burning software and find out if it has an option to burn CD audio. If it does, all you need is to select the mp3s from your HD and keep selecting them until you can fill an audio CD (700MB). Then repeat until you get all your mp3s into Audio format.

Just need to correct you a little bit here, or maybe clarify might be a better term. When you're making an "Audio CD" you can't go over 80 minutes(unless you do an overburn). When you make an "mp3 CD" or a "Data CD", you can't go over 700MB's. But, you want to make an "Audio CD", so this doesn't come into play. Just thought I would mention it. Everything else seems to correct.
