Hiya's,
1st off i'm new to this site though i've used it many a time to aid me

Now for my problem

I now run a 64bit hardware setup but use xp 32bit windows (until further drivers etc come for stuff i like)

OK, No matter what type of file, They play fine on pc, I convert with canopus procoder 2 or tempgenc express 3 or Nero vision usually to vobs and burn on dvd

Now i have had this problem in the past many moons ago so forgot what the heck i did to resolve it (FFDShow rings a bell)

Friday gone i decided to format and install xp 64bit to see what stuff i can now run on it and came across the old xvid/divx converts ok-plays fine on pc in vlc/wmp etc but when burned with tmpgend dvd author or Nero vision etc it stutters in cd drive and both of my dvd players, To be accurate it's a tiny mega fast video glitch/judder/hickup at about 2 a second, Very even throughout any file i try

I used to use single codecs ages ago but moved onto k-lite ones (can't rem which revision though)

I have not changed my hardware and in either 64/32 bit i always have used the same software etc

Have tried some single codecs etc eg: ac3filter/xvid/divx latest/fddshow etc

(ran GSpot to check the codecs required were there on each file, Ohh windose is fully uptodate on updates and it happens in both wmp9 and 10 (also in 10 when i tried xp 64)

Hope someone can help as i'm at a loss lol

EDITED This ............

Re-installed yet again and put xp64 bit in
All online updates done including wmp10

Using Latest Ac3filter/Divx 6.4/Latest Ffdshow/Koepi's XviD 1.1 and so far so good

Must stress these were put in before i had to try any codec packs so i guess with all my system running my usual stuff that my problem was using a codec pack/s
