Just making sure before I do it. I have a few friends who have versions 2.5/2.5 firmwares. If I wanted to downgrade their PSP why don't I just upgrade to 2.71 and downgrade from there, it seems like there's less of a chance for it bricking if I do it this way. Any advice?

downgradign from 2.5/2.6 is the same risk as 2.71 so if you dont have unpatched LCS then 2.71 is for you! i like 2.5/2.6 becuase it executes on first go were as 2.71 its luck and it can be tediouse at times! once it went like 13 tries really boring lol
