I'm trying to install 2.71 SE-A on my 1.5 PSP. I came across this guide which links to all the files needed .http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/407535.

However the 2.71 firmware linked to is the US version mine is UK would this brick my PSP if so how would I install this firmware on a UK PSP? I intend to upgrade this to SE-B then upto SE-B2 then 3, but before I bother can someone tell me if it is true that Vice City Stories runs on SE-B3?

When I ask if it runs GTA Vice City Stories I mean direct from the UMD without dumping it.

upgrading a UK PSP with US firmware woun't brick your PSP. It won't do anything. GTA:VCS runs direct off UMD with 2.71 SE-B3 and also via ISO.

Do you mean the US firmware won't work on my UK PSP or it won't damage it?
