Hi guys, I am really hoping one of you can help me. I had to move house recently, and obviously had to move the PC. It was extremely well packed and I transported it myself. I came to set it up yesterday, connected all the leads etc, and after I switched it on, the monitor displayed 'no video input' I tried the monitor on my second PC and it works fine. I have removed the graphics card, cleaned all ports etc, but still nothing. Can anyone help. I have read other threads, but nothing helped me. I do know that my PC has no internal speaker, so no beeps to hear at all. Everything seems to start up as normal, but I have to power it down via the main on/off switch.

I have a 3ghz, 512 ram Iqon PC. Geforce 5200fx graphics card. Direct X 9.0c 106gb hard-drive. Philips 170s 17" monitor. I cant remember much else.
Cheers

Sorry to sound daft, but how can I go to safe mode if I cannot use the monitor? If I press the delete button when I turn it on, will this enable the monitor??

try reseating all power & data cables to drives & motherboard. reseat all cards & ram. check on back of computer that the voltage switch(if have 1) on psu is set to your correct voltage of 110v(north america) & 220v(rest of world). try clearing the cmos according to user guide/motherboard manual.
