I have recently starting using Dual Layer discs to back up my DVD collection. I was following the Guide "DL burning with ImgBurn" where you rip the DVD to the hard disk first and take it from there with ImgBurn. In the guide it shows the "Create Layer Break Position" screen and shows a blue star(LBA field) and No in the "SPLIP" field and says this is the best option. All of the DVD's I have processed with this method show a yellow star in the LBA field and Yes in the SPLIP field, none have shown a blue star or No in the SPLIP field although all have burnt sucessfully. What is the significance of these fields especially in the sceanario where it does not follow what is shown in the ImgBurn guide.
