yes... but only if its an old big psone

i used to do this

1. open the flip lid, put an original game in, and at the back there chould be a little button, if you hold that or put something like "blue tack" in it , it will allow it to run with the tray open,

2. when it has loaded the game and on the PS screen swap the discs, and if done at the right time should run like a charm

i cant find an img for the loading screen, but how the hell do you stop it from spinning without recking ya psx or your fingers?!

it won't stop spinning until the "sensor" is released.
also i have a PSTWO (the slimline one) and this trick also works, except it is a bit harder since there are 2 sensors which you have to block, 3 if you count the disc brake.

i wouldn't advise doing that too much.. if you have a few extra quid just get a cheat box that you plug into the back of the ps1 that allows you to swap discs out... if you have the ps2 get the flip lid and get the pro breaker disc.. it cost a couple of quid but it beats messing up you playstation..
