Hello
I'm looking for a new mboard to replace one that I had in a system that has given me a lot of trouble and I think I've eventually traced the problem down to the mboard. The board I had was the Asrock P4VT8+ and I'm looking for something to replace this or just the same board again. I can't find the same board on sale anywhere on the internet, I've tried quite a few product finders and ebay amongst others but still nothing. Even if it was available second hand I think I'd be wary of buying an mboard second hand, but I haven't seen any second hand anyway. The only reason I was looking for the P4VT8+ is because it will work with all my existing components and because it should be pretty cheap now since it's a few years old, if anyone knows any places that stock older items please let me know. The components I need to put in the new board are:
P4 3.ghz HT socket 478 (should be 800mhz FSB)
1gb pc3200 (DDR400) DIMM (1 stick)
nVidia 256mb FX5500 AGP 8x
ide hard disk
SATA hard disk (was operating as sata1 on P4VT8+ but would like sata2 if possible)
ide dvd burner and dvd rom
If there are any mboards you know of that will accomodate these bits, perhaps with added extras like firewire, please suggest them.
Thanks!

The original p4vt8+ mboard and case were atx but I wouldn't mind getting a matx board and a new case for it, the old case is kind of ugly and has annoying lights. Also it would be great to make it all smaller, as long as the bits I have work with it.

After looking at some cases I've decided I would actually prefere micro atx form, despite the expected headaches due to the little room to work with and cable mess. So if anyone knows of a decent matx mboard which can accomodate all my previous mentioned components I'd love to hear your suggestions.
I would still also like to hear any standard atx form suggestions too.
Cheers!

Thanks very much for the suggestions.
The asus one would be good but it doesnt support ddr400 ram. The elitegroup one looks good, has everything I need, but I can't find any. There's one on e-bay but it has no warranty so I dunno about that one. I'll keep looking.
Thanks

2 x 184-pin DIMM Sockets support max. 2GB DDR333/266 non-ECC DDR SDRAM memory
* Obtain DDR DIMMs only from ASUS qualified vendors. Refer to the Qualified DDR400 vendors(QVL) list.

Thanks for the replies ddp. I don't understand what you meant in the last post? Are you just confirming that the asus board does not take ddr400 or are you saying there is a way to use ddr400 with it?

Thanks Reyrey, I would like to get that one actually, but I just can't find it at the moment, apart from that one on ebay which has no warranty. I'll have a better look tonight and see if I can find it.
