A while ago, I installed the "Creative SB Live! series (5.1)" sound card on my Sony desktop and now, I'm trying to get it to work with my Sony Giga Pocket. Every other application on my pc works just fine with the SB card but for some reason, the only way that I can get any sound out of the Giga Pocket is by using the old sound card.

I checked the audio output settings under "Sounds and Device Properties - /start/control panel/sounds,speech, and Audio Devices/Sounds and Audio Devices" and everything is defaulted to "SB Live! Audio[A400]".

I tried to see if there maybe was some sort of settings I could change on the Giga Pocket itself but I found nothing.

Any ideas? Has anybody had this problem in the past and have been able to fix it?

I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. Thanks a bunch!
