yeah, i missed the wii preorder, so my friend and i are going to go to walmart for like, 8 hours on the 18th and grab one at midnight.
anyone else doing anything fun like this?

Yo check out my thread Its got Target's Wii' units leaked I found out mines will have 33 and the other will get 60 so if Target is gettin that much then there is no need to worry they will be plentyfull

See, what you do, is get there just before they open, find the first kid to come out with his parents not immediately up on him, and punch the kid right in the face(Some people prefer to go for the mouth, as this can dislodge teeth, which is permanently disfiguring, and therefore more satisfying) and take it.
After that, you take it home, and get a little test run in, to see how you like it.
Once that's done, you take a BUNCH of pics of the box in your living room. Then you have them all developed (there's a reason we are doig digital here, folks.) in all, you want about 200 pics. You set them all around the box, in a nice manner; and take a photo of that.
Then you log on to ebay, and list an ad; call it 'Check out my new Nintendo Wii!!! L@@k!' In the description, type:
"Check out all these pics of my new Wii, I took lots of photos of it, and it is in great condition, as the pics show. These are great pics! Show off to all your friends!"
Watch the bids go crazy, since it is the holiday season, and people don't read the ad, to see that you're not selling them an actual Wii, but photos. Bidders will probably get up past $400 easily(It's a high demand item, but not in crazy demand like the 360 was, or the PS3 will be.)
Laugh at the winner of the auction as he screams at paypal, who then decides that you did in fact, never say he was bidding on the system of itself.
Sit back in your living room, laughing maniacally in your holiday grinchiness, overwhelmed with satisfaction, since you've punched a kid in the face(or mouth), gotten yourself a free Wii, and made four hundred dollars off of someone who didn't think to make sure you're actually giving them the *System*. Your heart is now ***ELEVEN*** times too small, ELEVEN! That's like cranking it up to ten, but all the way to ELEVEN man!

I would prefer a swift kick to the crotch as it plays more to the crowd still standing in line. Everyone loves it when some unsuspecting victim gets his pills shattered by a size 12 steel-toed boot. And since he is gasping for air, there won't be any initial crying noise to alert the parents or the ever-cunning Walmart security.
You forgot the part about driving off in your stolen car, as you can always ditch it a couple blocks later.

You're right about the car thing, man, what was I thinking?
As for the crotch kick, I actually stayed away from that one deliberately for two reasons:
-It's kind of generic, overplayed if you will
-We're talking about a little kid, the Wii that he is holding will already be right about crotch level, you don't want to risk kicking your precious mission fruits, now do you? That would be terrible!
Clearly a good broken nose and/or jaw would be the way to go, unless you were to just run up and clothesline the kid; this way, the kid would fall down, but the Wii would fall onto the kids body, which serves to cushion the blow to your precious mission fruits. Then you just grab it as the kid stumbles to figure out what happened, by the time the kid gets up, you've got between 10-40 feet on the kid(Depending on whether or noth this particular kid likes a good cry), and at that point you're just plain gone, because you've got longer legs than him, and assumably, his parent's primary concern is whether their kid is okay.
Now, there is another factor that I neglected to bring into the mix here: The Hero. There's always a hero. I was thinking a tazer might be fun, so that as soon as he gets within about fifteen feet, you can turn around, and zap him good right in the (wait for it csm11) sweet spot that will make him fall down like a crying child, possibly moreso than the kid who may still be laying on the ground.

Thank you, Flowfast. CSM11 and I were forgetting what is truly important in all this. Some gas, kerosene, or other chemicals might be useful in the matter. But I think it is key that we remember to have our transportation well in advance. A smart shopper my choose to locate their transportation the night before, so as to avoid any last minute searching delays, after all, one must cruise down there in style. No?

Well, I'm not so sure about torching the car in this instance. I believe it would just draw unnecessary heat from the police. (no pun intended) Again if it were me, I would just take an old pair of gardening gloves from my grandma's place and use those to committ the heist, then toss them in the dumpster after I get through the drive thru at my local Taco Bell.
Then afterwards, I would just make sure I didn't touch anything in the car with my bare hands and just leave it in an airport parking garage or somewhere like that. Hell, even a Walmart on the other side of town or at a busy shopping mall would do the trick.
*Edit*
Actually on second thought, you could torch the car because it could create a diversion for the police that it was a drug deal gone bad or a mob hit or something.
It would take forever for anyone to find the stolen car and by then, you could have already beaten Red Steel or perhaps even Zelda. At that point, I would queue the miniacal laughter you mentioned, handsom.

I doubt they would let you do that. Maybe the bundle just rings up as one item and you would have to return the whole thing. It would probably be for store credit only. At any rate, I wouldn't think it would be a bundle most people would go for.

They did this with 360's, with some going over $2000(It came with a tv, breathe...)
There were problems:
-Many of them were DOA systems, and Gamestop had none to replace them with for a LONG time.
-You couldn't get JUST the system.
-In many cases, you would get stuck with games/accessories that you didn't want or need.
-The systems that were sold in these bundles *SHOULD* have been given to the 100+ upset customers at each store, who were still waiting for the systems they had pre-ordered months in advance; while Gamestop tried to hold out being greedy for more bundle deals.
I worked for them at the time, and this particular bit made me sick.
But at least they aren't holding out on people who've already paid for their systems, in favor of those who have more money for bundles.

What promise? When did they ever say they were going to do that?
No one at Nintendo has made that statement. The closest thing is that the 'Regginator' has said that games are easier to play for older people, or those who don't typically have as much experience. Not once, has Nintendo stated that they intend to release more 'adult' games. Third parties are doing that, but that's nothing new, look at the RE titles on the GC.

THE ONLY PROBLEM
1. if you didn't preorder a wii you will not get one you must preorder a wii to get one becuase certain stores will not sell to kids unless they have there parents with them second you cannot sell any nintendo wiis on ebay for 90 days or ebay will pull your listing

You don't have to pre-order to get a system. In fact, most of the systems that are going to be sold are from chain stores that didn't take pre-orders. At least I am speaking for units in the United States, it might be different where you live, tabletpc.

yeah its gone be plenty of Wii's it is pointless to pre-order to me but its nice to be on the safe side I stated above that I found a link that leaks how many Wii's Target will get in the U.S mines will have 33 and 60 pluss Walmart will have some Best buy , I'm not worried at all
