Please read this first: http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/4557.cfm

Put yourself in my shoes, and it sucks. How do I avoid getting detected by the ICARUS system? If I use limewire or bittorrent, i'll get detected, so I need to try something that will give me stealth when I run file-sharing programs. I'm connected to a fiber optics local area connection, not a wireless network connection. I installed Zone Alarm on my computer, but somehow I doubt that will be enough, and I really don't want to be the one to take the risk. Can anyone help me out?

not sure but...the only way a ISP can know your using p2p if the data is shown as p2p as its sent (not sure how it works) so if you do encryption, and DONT allow connections from non-encrypted connections then they will be unable to determine what type of activity you are doing? They would still be able to see your doing that much activity though so it might be a bit obvious if your uploading like 10gbs or something?

:O
