Hello everybody,

I just checked out the new RR2 iso and was wondering if there are some major differences between RR1 and RR2?
RR2 seams to be the same for me cause the tracks, the music and even the cars seem to be all the same. Only difference I noticed was a new Intro and the guy at the beginning now says: "Ridge Racer 2" ;-)

Any info here?

Thats exactly what I thought, I believe there is suposed to be some new tracks but I had a quick flick through them yesterday and they all seem to be the same as the old ones.
Maybe you need to unlock the new ones?

yeah same here its exactly the same. Even if there are neww tracks it doesn't matter your still basically playing ridge racer 1

At the first moment I thought its the wrong iso...
I never thought Namco/Bandai would do as EA with their yearly Updates.

I don't think I'll be playing through this game, It took me the best part of a week to complete the first one, I'm not messing about doing all the same tracks over again.

Its actually great game once you get over the disapointment of the RR1 look there are heaps of new tracks and cars. Personally i think it was worth it.
