Sound Being Controlled By Third Party

All of a sudden my sound was being controlled by a seperate party, either a virus or am being hacked or i'm some how connected to someone elses computer by accedent. The only reasons i could this happened is because i was playing an MMORPG called Conquer Online. I quickely got bored so i downloaded a bot to hunt level up my character. It was working great for three days, and today, my sound started to go crazy. Every time i turned it up, it would either fight back, or go right down to no sound. I've scanned my computer with AVG Free, Adaware SE and Spy Bot Search & Destroy, nothing found anything of any harm to my computer. If anyone knows what i can do that doesn't involve clearing my harddrive (just did that a month ago) Please help me!

Sorry about the double post, but i forgot to mention that i completley uninstalled the game, and i completley removed all of the program files form the game, i also got rid of the bot.
