Me and my brother recently attemped to put in a 29 wire cheap mod.. we had the whole thing wired, and when we where taping down the wires.. so pulled out of there solder points. http://www.xbox-scene.com/modchips/ownmod_diagrams.html

the pads on points 30 and the one above 2 both pulled out. and while tring to re-solder to point 30, the track above it broke.

my questin is, are these points for the onboard bios? and i have the red/green flashing problem now of course, but if these only go to the bios, i get the flashing becuase it cant read the bios, right? so if i add in a mod bios, do you think it might fix this, due to the fact that you must ground out the on board bios anyway to get your bios to work. i was think about this mod

http://www.llamma.com/xbox/ShoppingCart/cheapmod_parts.htm

which seems to be easy to install, and has the linux bios i want anyway

has any one ever did this and have it work, or dose anyone now if it will/will not work?

thanks
