hello all, i recently bought the sony kdl40v2500 and i was wondering would the picture quality be worse if i exchanged it for the kdl46v2500 as u can see they are essentially the same model(v2500) only difference is 40''-46''

No the picture quality will be the same. different sizes are for different viewing distances. In your case the larger size will cause you to sit further away to get the same picture quality (if you where in the right spot for the 40" already).
