i have a 1.50v psp with devhook and umd emulator v0.8c i have many working games(need for speed, ridge racer etc) but when i put some of the games on to my mem stick and load them through the emulator it looks as if it is loading but then the psp goes off
can anyone help me

its more then likely because of umd emulator. it only loads games to like 1.52 and then some patched ones. there is the devhook option which allows u to emulate 2.71 and play (most) games up to 2.81 so far. or there is the custom firmware SE-B. it allows u to load iso's straight out of the XMB and there is no use for a loader.

as of now 2.80+ games do not load out of the 2.71 SE-B XMB

http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/673 - download that. its the .46 installer. you dont have to touch any settings. all u have to do is have a cso/iso in the ISO folder. Which u have. Start devhook, select the iso under umd select, have a umd in, and press "O" over start.

EDIT:
Ace combat x requires 2.81 and it loads out of the XMB in se-b. what other games dont load?

Cabela's African Safari doesn't load in devhook or in se-b3
