Does anyone know if there is a way to take a previously ripped and burned dvd and make an image on my hard drive? I have several dvd's I ripped some time ago and I want to make several copies. Copying on the fly is not reliable so I would like to make a Nero Image then burn from there. I have tried copying from the burner, then when it ask for the blank dvd, I searched for the image it createdbut I can't find it.

You could just use SmartRipper to 'rip' the contents of the DVD into a VIDEO_TS folder wherever you want on your hard drive and then burn that folder with Nero as many times as you want.

The dvd I am copying has allready been ripped and re-authored. I just wanted to make several copies but not re-rip it and not make an image for every burn.

Schmidt, I think you misunderstood, if you 're-ripped' it using SmartRipper you don't need to make any further changes or do it more than once.

Smartripper will simply copy the aready ripped and authored disc to the hard drive and you can burn it from that image as many times as you want. I've used it many times to do the same thing.
