I have an avi file that I need to split into 2 parts to fit it onto a CD. However, when I play the file in Windows Media Player it gets to the end of the length and then carries on going for about 5 minutes. The Easy Video Splitter that I am using does not recognise this end bit that is not in the length count of the movie and so misses it out when it is splitting. This happens with all of the AVI files I have, what can I do

Have you tried splitting with VirtualDub??
