hello, i am thinking of buying flight simulator x. I am purchasing a new computer the specs are.

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Socket 939
1 gig DDR400 ram
Nvidia GeForce 6800GS Super 512mb 256 bit graphics card.

Will this be able to run the game smoothly??? thanks for your help.

256 MB of system RAM for Windows XP SP2 / 512 MB Vista
14 GB available hard disk space
DVD-ROM drive
32 MB DirectX 9 compatible video card required
Sound card, speakers or headphones required for audio
Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
56.6 Kbps or better modem for online play

There is also trial version try it ! From the in question game is two different version > flight simulator x standard and deluxe.
