Im sooo tired of people stuck with 2.8x firmware lying about how great it is and so tired of people giving 2.8x users false hope. There are NO games out right now that REQUIRE anything but 2.71 and all that have 2.8x are FCKED. So stop gloating cos ya got a brick... OR contribute how you supposedly got a better PSP than the rest of us do.

1) their are games that require 2.81 out.

2)i suppose this is false hope like their was for a 2.7 downgrader too?

3)their is an exploit for 2.80 but kernel mode has not been fully unlocked yet.

4)2.82 is better than a brick anyday

technically it wasn't even coded. it just involves starting a higher update eboot and swapping memory cards with the 1.50 eboot right as the flashing begins. What they dont seem to understand is that the psar data of the eboot is held in the ram while it is installing(most of the time).

What games require 2.8x? Cos Ill go download em if I dont already have em and prove you wrong. And yeah sure I got 2.8x firmware or a brick.... mhmm or if you so saw my post in the GTA thread of a pic of me holding my PSP showing of GTA:VCS running off devhook via USB you'd know im a 1.50er and proud of it.

well then u shud no GTA:VCS stories requires 2.8 or 2.81 yet it still wrks on devhook and SE-B, and theres sum star trek game tht requires 2.82
