Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they have made a successful backup of battlefield 2142. Or if you can tell me how to back up the game. I have the DVD version of the game. I doubt DVD Shrink would work, but how about dvd decryptor. Any help anyone can provide will be appreciated.

my friend backed it up fine using alchohol 120, but its expensive. not really sure of any good free alternatives. what youll want to do once you get the burning software you need is download this program

use it to see the type of protection the game has and set that as the datatype when your making the image. oh, and this should go in the cd-r forum

But I have the DVD version of the game; so this is in the right forum right? I have Alcohol 120, but is that the best software to use for a dvd game? What about dvd decryptor?

yes, it still goes in cd-r backup if its a dvd. alcohol and DVD Decrypter would both work equally well.
