I have been doing a lot of research and I can't find a simple clear cut answer.

If I have a PC with BeyondTV4, a Dual Tuner Card (Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500) what will i need to record two channels at once (or watch one and record another) both digital cable.

Do I need two digital cable boxes? One for each tuner? Or can I just use one and split the wire?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
