Have a big problem here, and im almost ripping my hair off my head.
Just got myself Ice Age 2 (The Norwegian Version, PAL, Region 2)
and i would like to watch it in English, my problem here is my dvd.player dont support DTS and i find it strange that they actually made the dvd with Norwegian DS 5.1 Danish DS 5.1 and English in DTS 5.1!
so, i got no sound on my tv.
So i tried to find a way to convert the audio to DS but keep the dvd as it is.but with no luck.
Non of the big sofwares seem to support that kind of option,
(DVDFab, DVD Shrink, InterVideo DVDCopy, is the one iv'e tried)
anyone have any suggestions?

Don't know about converting from DTS to DS, but even if your dvd player did support DTS, you'd never get it from a tv. You must have an A/V receiver or separate processor, to decode the digital DTS signal, and send it out to the 5.1 speakers. Otherwise, you get no sound at all (as you experienced).

If you have a Dolby Digital receiver, with DTS capabilities, go into the dvd player's setup menus, and make sure the audio output is set to bitstream or raw, not PCM. Then set receiver on "Digital Auto". For DTS soundtracks, you'll have to manually choose that option, in the movies audio setup, or language menu.
