Hi, I have two PSPs and am wondering what is the absolute best thing to do with them in terms of versions & software given what I want to accomplish with them.

One PSP is a Jap V1.5 from new (and is not a TA-082).
The other is a newer UK model running V2.6 (and is not a TA-082).

I have searched quite a lot (many hours) and there are so many conflicting bits of advice and as I have two different PSPs I am getting very confused. Your advice and help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance of your help and understanding.

I would like to be able to (on both):
a] Run ISOs from memory Stick (including latest newest games) (copied direct from a UMD I have posession of AND from downloaded or gifted ISOs)
b] Run homebrew games (like all the old converted console games etc...)
c]Run original UMD games.

So....given my situation and goals:
1) what versions of O/S would you sugest I go to
2) which tools would you sugest I use to go to that O/S version
3) which tools would you suggest I use to load the ISOs ?

If there is anything daft that I have missed out of the info I have provided then please prompt me.

stay with the 1.5 and upgrade the 2.60 to 2.71 SE

Yea, stay w/ 1.50, but use Custom FW to maximize your exPSPerience... (I suggest Dark_AleX's method. It's not a cheap knock off like some others I know of.) Then, on the other one, you should upgrade to 3.00 for the PSone emu (when it's released).

That's what you should do. That's what I'm gonna do. Who can resist Resident Evil on a PSP? You outta your mind? 5hiiiiit.....
