Is it possible to make a DVD player (Pioneer DV-350 region free)that doesn't play DivX become a DVD player that does play DivX by some sort of firmware upgrade?

No sorry hatboy, But I have Philips DVP642 DivX-Certified Progressive-Scan DVD Player. This stand alone player it plays everything I have thrown at it. Great unit, a bunch of people here at AD have this unit as well do a quick search. I think on Amazon right now they are $45.00 not bad for what you get.Happy holidays
