Hello All,

My wife is laid up with several damaged vertebae in her back. She wanted a new HD tv for the bedroom. I went to Best Buy and bought on Sale a new Insignia LCD, 27 Inch. I have COX Communications as my cable provider, and installed a new HD DVR box. After i installed the box, I plugged in the Component Cables and loaded an HD Channel. It came up on the screen with Screen resolution of 1980 x 1080 60hz. When reading the manual on the tv and talking to the sales people, the maximum resolution should be 1377 x 768...which is really amazing to begin with. So my question to you all is this....could i really be getting Blu-ray resolution on such a tv?!? I checked with cox and they say the maximum res I should be getting is 1280 x 720? The model of the tv is this...
Insignia? 27" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
Model: NS-27LCD
