How does this thing work. No support, it says it is the best thing since cucusoft to convert DVD's to ipod on a mac. I can't even convert a fricking home movie. Help. Anyone use this sthing before?? Tips, tricks??

I am going in for surgery and will be out for six weeks starting on the 29th. I want to convert a bunch of movies to my ipod before then. Anything will help. New software, help manual anything. I just need ether some help using this thing or something that will convert my movies to my ipod quickly.
