Anyone know of a way to get around the 2.81 update to play online, please do not suggest waiting for Booster to let us emulate 2.81, Im asking for a way around that.

im not sure, i cant even get it running on SE-B3, when i start it, it just shuts off my psp

possibiblity - replacing the 2.81 PRX's in the game that handle the online multiplayer w/ 2.71 prx's?
i'm not sure if that's been tried, but if u got patience u could do it.

No solution as yet and there's hardly any discussions about it either. The only one I can find was this: LINK Tried to get around it too last night. Was able to connect to the server and it showed 17,000 + people online! We're missing out!

Theres 17,000 people online because that is combined with the socom combined assault ps2 server. It was the same with the first ftb it was connected with the s3 server. I signed in with my ps2 s3 name on psp and had all my friends online showing from s3.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present. |

NOpe, Ad Hoc doesn't work either. Just tried it with both my PSPs with no luck. Bummer.

How did you get it to work? I'm using FW 1.5 & DevHook 0.46 on both. Checked to see if we're both on the same channel and everything. Do you know what i'm doing wrong?

Never mind. I got it to work. I forgot to program my adhoc settings to 2.71 FW.

i got ftb2 and its great. i have two psps. one is 2.71 and one thats 2.81 but is a lil older. i would also want to kno how to use it on my 2.71 psp with devhook. cuz since i have the original umd

yea i tried a bunch of different downloads also and same thing with me. The psp recognizes it being there but it shuts off once i go into it
