2.81 dumper, safe with ta-082 mobos???

hi! i have a ta-082 mobo but somehow i followed the tutorial then i can now emulate a 1.5fw.. i downloaded this iso ace combat x.. apparantly, my psp was able to read it as umd but it can't be played because it says that i need to have a 2.81fw.. i used the alternative method using devhook0.4x in 2.71 but the game does not load no matter what i do.. so i'll try to use a 2.81 dumper.. will it not brick my psp?
