Around the internet, I've found a whole lot of....well...abnormal uses for the 5v~500mA provided by the 1st pin in a USB cable. In fact, I've actually been playing around with it myself. Here are some devices I've found on the internet that use USB for unusual purposes.

Oh dear god :S a cyber sex device for use in the office, anyway it's made in china so you'ed probley loose it where the sun don't shine.

And that electric blanket, those things are known to catch on fire so i couldnt imagine what using a cheapo one like that could do.

ANyway, i think you've pretty much listed everything except for mp3 players lol.
