theres a website called "megagames" and it has "PSX boot disc" but when i burn them and go to boot it, it dont work, i dont know anyone who will chip it as its VERY old, so i was just wandering if there waas a boot disc out there i culd burn and it would work.
You need to buy a pressed one.
Since your copy of the boot disc is a backup, you needed another boot to help it booting, and if it is also a copy you need a ........
You didn´t say if the console is a ps2 or psx, if is a ps2 you must buy "breaker pro"
PSX is VERY VERY VERY VERY Easy to mod. Only 6 - 8 wires. ANd chips go for only 4$. Id recommend woing to EURASIA.NU(no advert. intended) and get yourself a PS2 Modchip, PSX Modchip, + wire.
your best bet is the breaker pro. Breaker Pro works with the PS1, and it lets you play ps1 backups on the ps2 as well.
More or less i had that book disk from magagames, that was made for the first psx's out. It doesn't work on like 99 percent of the models, so don't bother with that. Oh yea the breaker pro doesnt need any modchips as well :)
your best bet is at http://www.consoleasia.com right now, since their fairly rare. I just checked and they do have some.
