Can any 1 tell me how to downgrade the 2.6 to a 1.5. my nephew got a PSP for his birthday and its 2.6 can some1 help me out.

Also when I move a ISO into the root of my memory. the new versions sometime say some error. Can any1 tell me why this happens. I can tell you the error when I get home as Im writting @ work.

& does any1 have the new GTA VCS, I only got a GIG memory stick and I found 4 GTA VCS and they are all over a GIG does any1 have it smaller 1?

and for the VCS you will need a ripkit. mine is arounf 700mb which was originaly 1.56gb. also u cant put an iso fodler when your on FW 2.6

He has a 2.60v and so happened to have the old version on GTA. I herd of looking for the ta-082 on the motherboard, but didnt find it there. I think when you open the part to put the game in that where you find it @ right. thats what I have found before on anothere thread.

Would I still need to upgrade to a 2.71v?

No there is nothing there when I open up the UMD slot. Even on my own personal 1 there is nothing there. I had bought mine @ a 1.52v. See then it was easy. I just upgraded to a 2.0 then downgraded to the 1.5 and its worked ever since. He had got lucky when they bout it for him @ the pawn shop @ the 2.6v and that it came w/the GTA LCS

ok is the LBS unpatched? you can tell if its unpatched but puting it in and when the game icon eappers underneath it it should say "update to 2.0"

I herd that the LCS w/a guys face on it works and not the 1 thats all black w/a gun on the cover. so thats why I thought it should work. & also would it still say to update to the 2.0 if his is a 2.6

just put the UMD into the and then the game icon should come up. underneath that it wil say "update to 2.0" it doesnt matter what firmware you have it will still say "update to 2.0"

reguarding to the thread, I also have 2.60 FW and want to downgrade to 1.50, so it BEST to update to 2.71 then down to 1.50? all i want to play is ISOs and of course movies..etc i dont care about homebrews

if u have 2.6 then downgrade from that if you have unpacthed LCS. the reason to this si that the downdater on 2.6 executes first time. Althought the 2.71 and 2.6 downgraders are just as safe the 2.71 downgrader make take up to 10 + tried to execute. i perfer the 2.6 cuz it nice and easy.

I am confused....

it says above to use the eazy downgrader if you have a ta-082 but when you run the downgrader it tells you not to continue if you have a ta-082 as it will damage your psp. I have a ta-082 which is running 2.71 at the moment . I want to get devhook running on it . Is there any way to downgrade to 1.5???
