alrite im back after *cough* 2 months after trying to solve my strange mobo type.
this is the previous thread i posted about my strange psp mobo (pics)
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/392061
i wasnt sure if i should downgrade it or not so i rather not take the risk and make it into a nice brick.
then one day when i wanted to download a video from googlevideos down to my psp (mp4 format), on my computer it says the file has been uploaded, but then when i open my psp to try and find it, its not there. I double checked to see if it was in the VIDEO folder and it was still there and not on my psp. Then i went to check on the PSPFAQ googlevideo to see what was i doing wrong. Then i found out something quite interesting.
http://video.google.ca/support/bin/answe...2187&topic=1484
as u can see, it clearly says i have to UPDATE it to the infamous 2.82 version ONLY IF I HAVE THE 1C1001 MODEL!!!!
so could this possibly mean i have a 1C1001 mobo??

nothing just motherboards i think. they use the model numbers to check what kind of psp they are. sony can tell what it is by the model number.
and 1001 seems ok...

PSP-1004 had 1.50 FW but PsP-1003 had 2.60, is that means that a 1003 was released after 1004???

PSP1004 - Europa, Mittlerer Osten & Afrika
PSP1005 - Korea
