hell i thought everything was fine, i thought i had devhook up and running,so i put the ripped psp game into the ISO folder on my psp, and then i swtiched on my psp and put in a umd of another game, and when i went to play the game, it said please update the softare version, what do i do? im stuck here, please help, thanks.

i know go to devhook and change ur firmware to the highest one, but if the game is 2.80 you just cant play it yet

yh tourans right, do you have 1.5 and are youre ripped games even for psp? if so are you sure the ripped games aint corrupted, ie. are missing vital files needed to run?

I'll help anybody who needs PSP help but only if you've helped yourself first - Everything the scene knows is self taught. What makes you spoonfed n000bs special?
PROJECT EE IS A FARCE!! THE REAL SCENE HAS SPOKEN - n00bs with an idea but no coding skill does not make a firmware.

yes my psp is 1.5, and the ripped games that ive got are on a disk, how do i go to the devhook menu bit and change the firmware thingy?

load devhook. under Firmware change it to 2.71. and put all your ISO and CSO in the ISO fodler found in the root.
