i recently bought a psp with 2.5 firmware,i upgraded to 2.71 through fifa07.then i downgraded to 1.5,then i upgraded to 2.71 se. i was then advised to downgrade again to 1.5. ive heard that 2.71se b3 is good but im a bit worried as i heard custom firmware on psp can brick it? i dont know if i have this or not? i use devhook to load my isos without any trouble,any help will be appreciated thanks

Ok, i,ll give you a link to auto install the SE-B3 and recovery folder.

You have no need for this "Install 2.71 SE-B with DevHook (2.71) and SE-B2 Update"
Just install this: Upgrade from SE-A or SE-B to SE-B2
and this : Install RECOVERY Folder for downgrading to 1.50.

i havent got se-a anymore i changed it back to 1.5, i didnt run any isos on se-a either. do i need devhook for this on the se? thanks

no id like to upgrade, do i still need to use devhook if i upgrade? as i am going to give my psp to my young brother,and i dont want him messing round with the options on devhook?

No you dont need DevHook when your running SE-B (only if you want to play the ISO,s from your PC through USBHosts) The ISO,s still go in the ISO folder in the root of your memory stick, but they will show under the GAME menu and are executable from it as well. :)

which files do i need to download then for me to upgrade from 1.5 to the se-b3? is there any chance i can brick my psp by doing this?
