Azureus Problem: download or torrent recognition

I have been using Azureus 2.2 for about a year sometimes it was absurdly slow considering how many seeds were often available .But that`s not my question! Azureus has STOPPED working on me I can click on a torrent-then the Azureus startup progress bar goes 7/8 of the way complete- then up pops my Azureus menu listing torrents and their up and download progress- lastly an Azureus torrent menu comes up showing me what files are in the torrent and giving me the option of eliminating any I don´t want or need. But this menu has no "OK" button I can press only the cancel button works. Please, someone explain how I can correct this. And please, please make it simple technical talk confuses me. I´m just a button pusher, having fun with an interesting toy.

Oh yes, I´m using a Sempron 3000(+)
Windows Xp
Kasparsky Anti-Personal 5.0
And I´m pretty sure I´m using the Win Xp or a Kasparsky firewall

I up graded Azureus to 2.5 but the problem remains the same.
