Sony is supposedly allowing homebrew on the PS3 on the firmware update 1.10, do you think that they may add it on firmware 3.0 for PSP also?
It would definitely increase their sales if they did.

Yes, theres a possibility. Maybe SONY were holding back homebrew and ms games for a damn good reason. Probably security issues or maybe certain f/w's may not be able to take such thing, so then they may have fixed all these errors and bugs in f/w 3.0 +

and theres would probably be better then the devs due to its actually coming from the official company it would be something to look forward to

but maybe they would have the 3.0 working at excellent speed for isos and without the nag of using devhook

cause they want us to use theres like when 3.0 comes out and it has homebrew capablities it would only work with their homebrew games and apps

exactly there homebrew games and shit. so there homebrew will be demo games and stuff no way there gona alow you to dowmlapd illegaly an dhten one day decide to make all this shit legal. hell nah 3.0 gona be the hardest FW to crack and cuz it has a few homebrews maybe custimzation they ant gona allow you to downlaod games

also the emulations to psx so maybe that would add to homebrew add-ons because the default emulation comes with ff7 and mgs and i guess from there you can add it off the sony site through homebrew

i think there is absolutely no chance of them letting us use homebrew on 3.00 because they held it frm us all this time y wud thy all of a sudden just take out all the security on their updates. i think 3.00 will not allow any other programs other then the psx emulators they are coming out with.most likely they will add a bunch of security on the 3.0 becuase its taking them ages to come out with this firmware update. But if they do let us use isos n shit that wud be crazy

they wouldnt take out any security the security would still be there from devs from making there own homebrew and working so sony would have it's own homebrew like i said earlier

And why do you think Booster hasn't made another release of DevHook yet? He's already decrypted 2.80 and 2.81. If he released a new DevHook now, Sony would learn his tricks. Everytime he comes up w/ a new flaw, they block it. So he is most likely waiting for 3.00 since it's going to be the best FW of all, then he will release 2.80, 2.81 and 3.00 so we can choose. (Most likely) Since 3.00 has the PSone emu, he wants to emu this FW and not blow his chance to emu the best FW to date.

The thing that really blows my mind (and I believe Booster had this planned the whole time) is the fact that 2.81 games work w/ DevHook v0.44 and above... I mean, I bought a 2.81 game, but I couldn't play it via UMD. I ripped it to ISO and it worked like a champ, never asking me to upgrade. :o NICE!
If you really want a mind trip, maybe Booster works for Sony and he's only releasing DevHook (from WITHIN Sony, with Sony's full knowledge) to create controversy and keep the scene interesting. Maybe that's why Booster is such a genius; b/c he knows the FW like nobody's business. Who really knows?

so crazy he might be right lol i though about that to but not that he still works for sony i thought he was like the vice president and got fired and knew all the secrets but then got fired so now he is against sony by releasing each hack with everything there security got to brake there walls down lol :)
