Hey,
I recently got a cable internet connection and while downloads directly from a website fly through, programs like Limewire or any torrents crawl through 1.0kbs or lower. I'm highly frustrated and have no idea what else to do. Please help.

not really limewire right now is being watched by the RIAA to catch music pirates so i wouldn't recommend using it anymore your best bet is use azerus i hope i spelled that right and some torrents do not use lime wire because of the extensive searching by the RIAA the RIAA has shut down several links and worse has locked several links out in limewire causing both lime wire and frost wire to behave eraticly slow download no connection errors and even worse a new mac virus to disable wireless and network adapters from reconnecting to the internet i ran into a mp3 lockout virus that locked my entire music collection out of itunes i couldn't even use it thank god for backups though
