Verbatim DVD+Rs go on sale regularly, but the packages I see always read "Made in Taiwan" (some brands are now "made in India" but not these, yet). I've been reading this group and keep seeing testimonials to TY-made Verbatims. How do I recognize these in a store? Right now I'm existing on Sony 1-8X and 1-16x "made in Japan" but these are going to run out sooner or later and I'd like to stock up on TY (made) or some other reliable brand.

ty made verbatims are only available in europe and the uk i beleive. sorry no ty made vebs in the us as of yet.
