consumer electronics magazine gave nintendo a award for most innovative new product they also rated the ps3 with a 2 star rating saying if your dumb enough to fork out 600.00 for a system with no games then you deserve sony

not looking good for the competition but looking great for the wii

Eh, that's just one magazine's opinion. Good deal for Nintendo, but doesn't really weigh heavy on PS3's success.

Unfortunately, a lot of magazines do get pretty biased on this stuff. I'll agree that $600 is a HECK of a lot to shell out on a game system with only a couple titles. The whole PS2 thing really makes no difference to me, it's about as important as psx on ps2, which is not at all. lol.

In the longrun though, Sony could release 2 more games in the first year, and they would still sell millions of systems and millions of the games. Sony has made HUGE mistakes in the last year, but they aren't losing their fans, even when they DIRECTLY INSULT THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS. Really, I do have to agree with the magazine saying that if you're dumb enough to blow $600 on that, you deserve it.

But maybe that's just me, I just feel that when a manufacturer keeps changing and lowering stats up until the month before launch, and that when they insult their customers by making racist ad campaigns in the UK, and directly stating that their consumers are idiots; I kind of start to hope they fail miserably... Huh, go figure.
