i know this question has been asked many times, but i was messin about on my psp and i scanned for connection and some1 name came up i used the internet on my PSP for quite abit, but then error popped up and i couldnt connect anymore, i just wanted to know how i get connected to the internet on my psp, its version 2.71, do i need to buy somthin and is the internet free? and how i exactly does this wireless router thing work?? thanks for your time help wud be appreciated......

you prolly got on someone's wireless connection, then they booted you off of it. buy a wireless router, plug it in, then u scan and ur psp will get online :-) it's a bit more complex then that, but i just use my psp at free hotspots (carribou coffee shacks/mcdonalds and what not.)

i was using the internet yesterday aswell on my psp i didnt have NO connection watsoever, i scanned the psp and someones ip add and ss name popped up, and my internet worked, but the strenght was less than 20, i dnt know how that happened, anyways it was pretty slow and i tried to watch youtube vids but it said javascript not turned on but it was already on, anyways ill stick to my pc from now on... its MUCH FASTER....

They can boot you off their connection? that's probably what my neighbor did then. haha

Were you able to connect in your house? Because I always had to sit on the porch in order to get connected. I bet my neighbor saw me or something, that meanie. lol
