So if i was to mod my xbox and run linux on it i would be able to play any pc game on it...but i am lost how would u configure controls and graphics with the xbox?
My step-brother has his running mandrake on his. I don't know exactly how to do it...he went to a friend of mine. The bugs are still being worked out,but it seems to work ok. As far as pc games....not too sure,but it sounds possible.

with a mod chip you can run small programs/games called 'homebrews'. a few examples of these are xbmp, dvdx2, xboxcopy, xcommandor, doomx, and so on.. (which you probably know...)
i know there are a few homebrew games of pc games such as doom and quake, but not too many.
one would think that porting a game from pc to xbox wouldn't be too hard since the xbox is basically pc.. but it must be kind of hard or we would be seeing way more homebrews (or perhaps legalities of doing such things, d@mn the mpaa and RIAA!!!)
Would it be able to turn the xbox into a pc by uploading window so that it can play computer games as well as do everything it currently can do with the mod chip.
it is possible to load linux onto your xbox using gentoox or debian and then running a program called wineX. WineX allows you to play windows game on linux. go to www.xboxlinux.org for further information on installing linux on your xbox. it is rather simple.
