Subtitle help using DVD Lab Pro

I want to author a dvd with three different movie files, each with subtitles and a menu using DVD Lab Pro. I already added the subs to each movie, but when I make the menu I don't know how to link the subtitle button to the right subtitle stream. I right-click the button and pick "Set Subtitle", but I get 8 different streams. Isn't there supposed to be only three? How do I know which one goes with each movie?
