My friend has a Intel 82852/82855 on his laptop, when he try's to runs carbon the screen flickers and then closes. No errors messages....nothing. Thanks for all your help

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intel852gm/ I don't know how old that Graphics card is, but perhaps should be more powerful Graphics card . Update of the drivers could help.

That chipset doesnt have T&L Hardware (tuxture and lighting).
Which Is a requirment for the game.

I ran into that problem. Intel's integrated graphics are really terrible. Try an upgrade, I don't think drivers will help.
