hmm, not sure about the UK, but i saw on G4 TechTV that it will be aprox. 240 - 260 Us - Canadian.. in between there, i think.

Well, while I haven't heard on UK prices, the US price was confirmed as $249.00 by *many* sources, including GameInformer magazine, which historically has never misquoted something of this nature.

hmm cool, neato. I really like the style of the Wii. Not sure if id buy it seeing how there could be more powerful systems as the 360 and PS3. but im not sure how much i would like the remotes to run on batteries and if i dont have the energy to be swinging my hands all over the place and box and stuff, Neat idea. But a little too voer the top?

Good grief I just gave you the confirmed price. Once again, in the UK the Wii is going to cost £179 (or ?249).
This was confirmed almost two months ago at a Nintendo press conference.
