In a few days I'm going to China and one of my friends there told me they have Xbox games for $1.50 so I thought I'd load up.

My question is do I have to mod my Xbox in order to play PAL format games? I assume these games are PAL copied versions of originals.

I have never opened my Xbox, I don't know a thing about mod chips, I've never done anything on Xbox Live, I don't want to install a new harddrive or play ROMs, I just want to play these CHEAP games.

Could someone tell me what needs to be done ?

dont worry you can softmod its easy to do cost hardly anything and no need to open the xbox

it allows you to play backups (copies)

simple done in 5 mins flat and allows PAL

Okay, I can do all that--it's rather simple.

Just one last question:

So when I put in the PAL game it will automatically detect it as PAL and switch to play it then?

Alright looking at this action replay its like $30

Instead of action replay can I use a XB/USB Memory Cable to transfer the Installer?

Can I also use USB Memory Cable to 'backup' my XBox's harddrive?

I've noticed the USB connectors are cheaper than Action Replay, and well, I'm a cheap person.

30 bux is cheap,you can do it the otherways but they are not 100%....
