I'm a complete amateur, so please excuse the untechnicality of this thread - my son has a PSP and it powers up but it cannot read the disc. I took the battery out for 5 minutes, but this hasn't made any difference. We can hear the disc 'turning' but it sounds a little 'clunky'. Does anyone have any clue what is wrong?

is it just the umd the problem is with or can you not get into the main menu etc.

if all else fails your gona have to resort to downgraidning to 1.5 then 2.71 SE and use the NO UMD mode. sorry mate.
